The Creative Brief

The client left much of the creative direction to us, giving us the freedom to explore ideas that could resonate with their brand. They mentioned they "just want us to do our creative thing," and the only guidance was to incorporate green (a natural fit for the financial world) and “maybe something with a G.” They were not certain which direction they wanted to see when it came to fonts or styles, leaving us room to focus on clarity, conciseness, and professional appeal. Even when our clients feel like they don’t have a lot of design inspiration to provide, we can keep asking questions until the path becomes more clear.

Our Approach

Given their openness, we developed 3 logo concepts and shared these options with Chris. Each concept revolved around the prominent "G" that they had envisioned. Ultimately, the design that resonated most was one that was clean, modern, and powerful—a reflection of the trustworthiness and professionalism of Grieder Financial Services, Inc.

The final logo features a bold, abstract "G" formed with smooth curves to symbolize growth and forward movement. The shades of green convey financial stability and prosperity, while the clear and confident typography ensures that their brand feels approachable yet authoritative. The client loved the simplicity and professionalism of this design, which matched the "clear and concise" look they were after.
